Behavior

Daisuke the Dasher acts like a normal enemy for most of the time. He often goes for Tiles sword.png Sword or Tiles swirl.png Swirl, then moves towards the player to hit them, and retreats 1 cell back after attacking. He also sometimes summons a SpikeCharger.png Spike Charger. You can easily kill the Spike Charger, and then move onto Daisuke. If you do not do this on time, the Spike Charger may become a threat later on. However, the main problem arises from his dash attack. He sometimes goes for Tiles dashForward.pngTiles sword.png Charge + Sword, which if you are not careful enough, will always hit you. Here is how you can dodge the attack:

  • If you are playing as the Wanderer, get close to him when he starts adding tiles, and then swap positions with him. To be safer from this attack (especially if he is corrupted), it is better to stay close to Daisuke, so you have enough range for your dodging move.
  • If you are playing as the Ronin, use your Tiles smokeBomb.png Smoke Bomb or Tiles swapToss.png Swap Toss (if you have the second tileset) to avoid him.
  • If you are playing as the Shadow, you can phase through him to avoid the attack. If he is on the edge of the field, you can quickly use your Tiles grapplingHook.png Grappling Hook to get him closer, so that there is space for your phase move.
    • If you have the second tileset for the Shadow, there is no real consistent way of dealing with this attack. So, constantly try to lure him out of the edge with his melee attacks to make space for your phase move.
  • If you are playing as the Jujitsuka, you can throw him to evade the attack. Similarly to the Wanderer, it is safer to be close to him for this attack.
  • If you are playing as the Chain Master, you can easily avoid his charge attack with the special move (Which is just swap toss).

This attack can be extra of a threat if you do not kill the Spike Chargers on the field on time.

Corrupted Daisuke

CorruptedDaisuke4.png

Corrupted Daisuke the Dasher gains the Quick trait as well as the Tiles tetsubo.png Tetsubo attack. He goes for the Tiles dashForward.pngTiles sword.png Charge + Sword and Tiles summon.png Summon moves much more often. Aside from this, Corrupted Daisuke does not have much of a change.

To deal with Corrupted Daisuke, you generally should be closer to him as his Charge + Sword attack can be executed much quicker. Also, since Spike Chargers get summoned much more often, there will be times in which Daisuke could perform deadlier attacks (like Tetsubo and the Charge + Sword attack), meaning that the Spike Charger's Charge attack will be better to take rather than Corrupted Daisuke's heavier attacks . If Corrupted Daisuke is going for a melee attack, then it is probably worth it to kill a Spike Charger summoned on the field. If he doesn't, try to dodge his dash attack immediately.
